AGENDA

1. Roll Call:

President Eimer called the meeting to order at 7: 10 P.M.

2. Treasurer report:

The treasurer reported that expenses were on track for the year with no major unexpected expenses. She reported a couple of bills for repairs to the gate due to damage from residents hitting it and a lock replacement bill exceeding $400 due to a broken key. Finding and billing the residents responsible for the damage was discussed. It was also noted that some residents have had trouble with new replacement keys that were issued to them that may be defective and the cause of the problem. The minutes from the April 2007 meting were reviewed and approved.

The property manager detailed several maintenance issues that are being addressed including the street light repairs, the removal of rust on the perimiter walls. Board members raised question about addressing the condition of the soccer field as well some broken play equipment in the children's playground. A resident raised a question about appropriateness the material used as ground cover in the tot lot. The Board asked the manager to check on these issues and report back. Brigitte informed the Board of a problem with the edging of the grass, which appears to be chemically burned and her contact with the landscaper who agreed to correct the issue. The Board reviewed bids for pressure cleaning and requested that additional information be obtained prior to a vote. Tru Security discussed misuse of the recreation facilities by children and requested the Board's support for stricter enforcement of age restriction regulations. The Board unanimously agreed.

While addressing residents questions and concerns the Board discussed traffic issues including speeding, and voted to approve the hiring of an off-duty Greenacres Police Officer to do random radar enforcement patrols a couple of times a week to help reduce the danger posed to our residents from speeders in our community. A resident noted the presence of an alligator in the canal to the Board. It was reported to animal control authorities but was not found. The violations of the water restrictions by many residents were also noted and will be reported to authorities if they continue. Howard Eimer reported to the Board that he would no longer serve as H.O.A. President.

3. Adjourn meeting:

The meeting was adjourned by unanimous vote at 8:40 p.m.
